Thanking First Responders in Colorado Springs

First responders in Colorado Springs are being recognized by some community members. Meadows Park Community Center hosted a block party to celebrate the end of its summer program for the season. Police officers were part of a dunk tank for the occasions as kids were trying to get them soaked. Springs firefighters also showed off their trucks. People enjoyed face painting, free food, and a bounce house. More than 100 kids were part of the party today.
